About

Harm Belt is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Eindhoven, with a practice rooted in drawing and painting from observation. His early work focused on portraits and the human figure, later expanding into landscapes. Over time, his interest has shifted toward capturing movement—especially through the lens of contemporary dance. He holds a PhD degree from the Eindhoven University of Technology where he currently works, and he has an industrial research background on sensing technologies from 25 years at Philips Research and ASML Research combined. His multidisciplinary approach in art leads more and more to collaborations that blend visual arts with performance art and science.
